Copying
We recommend printing rather than copying if you have an electronic copy of your work. This will give you higher quality, first generation prints.
Mono (black-only) copying
Our Ricoh 2090 black & white copier can produce up to 90 A4 copies per minute, as well as A3 and double sided copying. Our three colour copiers can make up to 55 or 60 mono A4 copies per minute. Prices are on a sliding scale, starting at 8p each for 1-20 A4, dropping to 3.15p each for 1000 A4, with additional copies even cheaper still. Paper used is Xerox Recycled Supreme or Xerox Premier (PEFC non-recycled) 80gm. A range of thicker and tinted papers is available at additional cost; please see the supplies pricelist. Full colour copying
We have four colour digital copiers. They produce up to 40 full colour A4 copies per minute, as well as A3 and double sided printing. Prices start at 40p each for 1-10 A4 copies, and as low as 25p each for 200, with additional copies just 20p each. aper used is Xerox Recycled Supreme or Xerox Premier (PEFC non-recycled) 80gm. 100gsm paper costs just 0.6p per sheet extra (60p per 100). Self service copying
Two digital black & white copiers are available in the foyer outside u-print.com for use on a self-service basis whenever the Barnes Wallis building is open. A reusable copier card is required and offers 50 copies for £2, (i.e. 4p each) with extra copies as low as 2.4p each making it a very cheap copying facility. Disposable cards are also available for fewer copies at 5p a copy.
